It arrived leading the fall-winter trends, but it has also come to stay through spring and summer. Mustard-colored garments and fabrics are the kind you find yourself staring at for a while. They catch your attention, the color gives you energy and good vibes, but you end up thinking, “It’s not for me.”
Mustard, as a shade of yellow, has some of this color’s contradictory psychological qualities. On the one hand, it is warm and optimistic, bright and full of energy, encouraging activity and enjoyment of life. But on the other hand, it is so eye-catching that many people don’t dare wear it.
However, adding a touch of mustard to your look in combination with other neutral shades, such as white or black, will definitely help you make peace with it. If you don’t dare incorporate it into your main garments—skirts, pants, or dresses—give it a chance to bring light to your accessories.
