Today I want to share the free pattern for the Julieta pouch with you—a pretty, practical sewing project that’s perfect for using up scraps ✨
It’s a pouch with a ruffle, zipper, and super-sweet finish, ideal for storing sewing supplies, makeup, accessories, or any other small items.
I also used this project to compare two types of super-adhesive fusible interfacing from D’Creative: medium and heavy, so you can see how the firmness changes depending on which one you use.
One important thing to keep in mind when using this type of interfacing is pressing.
To make sure it fuses properly to the fabric, it’s important to hold the iron in each area for about 12-15 seconds without sliding it.
