The new Christmas fabrics are here to make you feel like a little girl, beside herself with excitement, on Three Kings’ Eve. Don’t leave it until the last minute, or the stress will set in and nothing will get done. Our plan is to start now, little by little, preparing every detail with all the excitement in the world.
With three little ones at home, you can imagine that Christmas is a very serious and important matter.
To begin with, we’ve already scheduled the workshops where we’ll make the advent calendar together. If you want to put one up at home this year, these links may interest you:
- What an advent calendar is and how to use it (if you’re a beginner)
- How to make an advent calendar (if you don’t live in Mataró and can’t attend the workshops)
- Workshops for making the advent calendar (at our shop in Mataró next November)
And with that said, let’s get to the Christmas fabrics!
New Christmas fabrics 2016This year, the classic reindeer are joined by some very special guests, such as nutcrackers. Reds, whites, and greens make up a beautiful color palette that you can combine however you like.
The big new arrival: nutcrackers
They’re gorgeous! These fun and elegant nutcrackers come from Riley Blake and the Nutcracker Christmas collection.
A magical Christmas story full of marzipan that ultimately became, probably, the best-known ballet in the world. And now they’ve made their way onto fabric so you can create equally magical things with them.
As you’d expect, green and red tones predominate. The fabric is perfect to combine with the red Mini Harlequin from The Henley Studio.
Long live the reindeer
They’re the stars of all our Christmases, so they couldn’t be missing from our selection. We have something for every taste: red on white, white on red, full-body designs, just the shape of the head…
They’re also part of the Scandi advent calendar panel and we’ve already made lots of beautiful things with them.
For example, these baby-doll panties for New Year’s Eve or the decorative Christmas letters you can find among the Lulu Ferris tutorials.
Look for them among our selection of Christmas fabrics.
And there’s more! Solid reds, prints with little animals and snowmen, stars…
If you want to see them all, visit the online fabric showcase and don’t miss a single one.
May December find you well prepared this year.
