How different childhood is for kids today! I'm not going to sound like a grandma, but if our childhood was already very different from our parents', our children's is different in an even more radical and profound way. That's what happens when you're born right in the middle of the Digital Revolution. They learn to use electronic devices before they learn to read, play sitting down instead of running around from one place to another… Would you like them to have fabric toys inspired by your own childhood, like the ones we loved so much?

STICK HORSE
We'll start with a classic among classics: the stick horse! And although they were traditionally made entirely of wood, we made ours soft, cuddly, and very colorful. So they can run and jump and gallop and neigh and live through a thousand and one adventures together. We added a horn and turned ours into a unicorn.

ROLL-UP CHALKBOARD
Do you have a little artist at home who loves to draw? Then you're going to love this idea: it's made with chalkboard fabric and folds up so you can take it anywhere, taking up very little space. You can make it whatever shape and size you like. It's very lightweight and, unlike conventional chalkboards, your child can't hurt themselves with it.

FISHING GAME
It's wonderful for its simplicity and its ability to keep little ones entertained. We made ours with magnets: you can use other systems if you prefer, but this seemed safest to us because, with the magnet inside the toy, it's impossible for them to swallow it or for it to end up where it shouldn't. Very inexpensive, very easy to make, with the added bonus of learning to make these adorable little dolls.

FABRIC WINGS
What do you think about giving them wings to fly? Although we created these wings thinking of carnival costumes, they like them so much that they're a wonderful toy. Why keep them tucked away in a box for an entire year? Choose pretty, colorful fabrics in the shades they like best and teach them to fly freely and happily.
