Today's tutorial will be great for travelers: travel slippers that take up very little space, can be folded, and taken anywhere.

They're very easy to make—you'll be done in less than half an hour! It would be ideal to make a matching bag to store them in; you can use the snack bag tutorial and adapt it to the size of the slippers.

If you're a traveler, you'll like our weekend bag; it holds everything, but once it's empty, it takes up very little space. You could make everything to match and have the complete set.
To make the slippers, you'll only need a little fabric; one fat quarter would be enough for everything, non-slip fabric for the soles, and stabilizer or batting to make them softer to walk in. We used a little interfacing in the vamp piece, but as I mention in the video, you could use batting.

Don't forget to download the PDF so you can make them, and follow the instructions in case you need to make them larger.
Get everything ready, and let's sew them!
I hope you enjoyed the video (if so, don't forget to like it and subscribe) and decide to make yourself a pair. You'll see how great they'll be to wear.
We'd love to see them if you make them. You can tag us if you upload them to Instagram and use the hashtag #cosiendoconlulu or #luluferris so we can all see them. Don't forget to follow these hashtags to see everything your sewing friends upload.
Happy sewing!
