Last week we showed you some of the new arrivals we were leaving in the store before going on vacation, but we still had a few aces up our sleeve. If you haven't stopped by the store in a few days, we have surprises: more summer fabrics 2017! And they're not just any fabrics—they're the kind that make you say, “I need them!”.
Nautical, romantic, geometric, adorable… what's your style?
Remember that we're on vacation right now, but no order gets lost. They're all stored safely and kept in our care until we return on August 7. Hopefully by then we'll come back to a mountain of work and shipments to prepare.

Summer fabrics 2017:when you thought you'd already seen it all…
Nautical
Yes, we've had a very nautical summer. But with beauties like these, who can resist? And after the huge success of the summer dress with a gathered top, we've brought back white-and-red striped knit and solid red knit. A winning combination, as beachy and summery as they come.
But without a doubt, one of the discoveries of the summer has been Summer Sail. Red little boats with white sails on a dark background, sprinkled with small white triangles. This fabric is absolutely fantastic for making clothing: dresses, skirts, shirts, rompers, harem pants, bandeaus, or any garment that works well with knit fabric, whether because of its stretch or its drape.
Romantic
Pink, orchid, lilac tones… Colors that come with a sweet, gentle feeling built in. Solids, backgrounds, or the stars of fresh, original floral prints. In the photograph above, you can see the three new fabrics we've added to the store: from the carefree, playful style of the cacti to the walking springtime of Modal Smambloms.
Modal is the name of a type of fiber made from cellulose, a kind of rayon or viscose that is lightweight and holds its color and structure very well through use and washing. Or, in other words: it ages better than cotton and is always soft and smooth. It's flexible, delicate, and lets your skin breathe.
Mint geometrics
100% organic cotton, cool, with a design that goes with everything and perfect for making clothing (such as shirts). Meet Guadalupe Mint. We love the gold triangles because they break up the regularity of the print: they're rebellious, do their own thing, and don't care about following the perfection of the lines.
Somehow, they reminded us a little of ourselves. Do you feel the same? ^^
