We're back with a tutorial that's very easy to sew, for beginners, and ideal as a gift for someone who crochets. Maybe you're the one who loves to crochet and feels like trying your hand at sewing (if you haven't already) to make one for yourself :)
It's a case that opens all the way and has an elastic band in the center for placing the crochet hooks. The spacing between them will depend on the size of the hooks.
We made the closure with snaps, but as we explain in the tutorial, you could close it with Velcro if you prefer.
If you're more of a knitter, a couple of weeks ago we made a tutorial in our sewing academy, Lulu Ferris, for a case/backpack for knitting needles with a pouch to carry everything you need. It's the ideal set for someone who does both.
We've created a PDF with all the materials and measurements, but you can always adapt it to the crochet hooks you have or personalize it as much as you like. We added a small piece of chalkboard fabric so you can write the name, but you could add a piece of kraft-tex or make an appliqué.
