Tutorial: T-Shirt Yarn Chair

Many of you ask me what else you can make with t-shirt yarn, so today I'm giving you the idea of customizing a chair with it!

In the shop I had this typical Ikea chair, a little plain, so why not give it a summery look?

First I started by choosing the colors of the t-shirt yarn. After that, it's the easiest thing in the world: tie a knot and start winding. Careful! If the spool won't fit between the bars, you'll have to cut the length you think you'll need.

When you reach the end, tie another little knot and tuck the leftover piece of t-shirt yarn from the beginning and end into the winding.

Once you've done all three bars, or however many you have or want to do, you can leave it as is or add fringe, as I did.

How? Every two wraps, tie a little knot and cut the t-shirt yarn. At the end, if you want, you can even everything out, both along the bottom of the fringe and along the top where the little knots are. Et voilà! Easy peasy!
