Tutorial: Recycling Fabric Scraps

What can we do with all those little fabric scraps we have? Well, some really lovely crafts! What can we do with all those little fabric scraps we have? Well, some really lovely crafts!

Today we're suggesting that you don't throw away a single scrap of fabric so you can make these easy and  beautiful stars.
What do we need? A piece of sturdy cardboard or heavy cardstock, a craft knife, white glue, a paintbrush, and the fabric scraps... You don't have any? At our store at C/Bonaire 6b, you can find little bags for 0.50€.
How do we make them? On the cardboard or cardstock, we'll draw the star, heart, your name, or whatever you've decided to make. Once it's outlined, we'll cut it out with the craft knife. Then, using the paintbrush, we'll apply the white glue and start sticking on the scraps. We also need to keep the sides in mind and continue sticking them on until the cardboard is no longer visible. Let it dry, and that's it! It's that easy :)
What can we do with them? We can make a little hole in them with an awl and hang them on a string like a garland, or for the Christmas season, we can make them with little pieces of red fabric and hang them on the tree...
Now it's time to create!
