How long has it been since you treated yourself to a couple of beautiful fabrics for a project? Today we want to suggest three fabric combinations to inspire you to sew something that feels just right for spring. Keep those machines humming!

Remember that both the Lulu Ferris membership and our YouTube channel are full of tutorials, so you’ll never run out of ideas.

Let’s get to them!

Fabric combinations for spring

1. Cactus and coral

The first combination is cheerful, colorful, and wonderfully fresh. Cactus Sienna is very easy to combine: a white background with a variety of green, red, blue, pink, and other shades… We love how it looks with Basics X Coral: white crosses on a coral background that makes the multicolored cactus and owl print stand out.

2. Jungle and gold

Jungle-inspired with a search for gold, as if we were explorers in the mines of King Solomon. Both are 100% cotton and belong to Cotton Steel’s Menagerie collection.

Selva Menagerie is a festival of life and color: lush vegetation hiding tigers, leopards, and tropical birds. The counterpoint comes from the pearl-gray tone and gold print of Gold Dots Menagerie. A beautiful combination for children, but also for creating all kinds of accessories for yourself.

3. Mint, white, and mustard

For this last combination, we couldn’t choose just one, so we’re suggesting three fabrics. The main one is Wild Dots, which combines mint and mustard shades on a white background. We adore the mint-and-mustard combination because of the way it makes the colors shine: it conveys vitality and cheerfulness without being loud.

The two candidates for creating a winning combination are Wild Spirit Mint (from the same collection) and Mini Triángulos Mint, another one of those fabrics we never get tired of using.

If you’ve fallen in love with the little lions on Wild Spirit, don’t wait too long to decide because we only have two units left in the store.

And don’t forget that we love seeing the wonderful things you make with our fabrics and tutorials, so if you decide to use them, take a photo of the result and share it on social media (tag us with the hashtag #luluferris or #cosiendoconlulu) or email us at info@luluferris.com.

Enjoy them!
