With Carnival just around the corner, we're bringing you some accessories you can sew in 10 minutes to help transform any outfit the child is wearing into a costume.

We're making a superhero or superheroine cape and the typical boots they wear.

You can fasten the cape with Velcro or snaps to a T-shirt, sweatshirt, or one-piece suit, or simply tie it with a bow. And the shoe covers stay up easily with the elastic above the calf.

Download the pattern right here. You'll find the cape in 3 different sizes, and we'll show you how to calculate the measurements for the boots.

Important: print at 100% scale and check that the measurements in the test box are correct.
