Don’t even think about leaving it in a corner—we need to make the most of the excitement and enthusiasm of the first few days. We’ll help you learn to sew with a sewing machine so getting started is fun and much easier than doing it on your own.
In 2017, many people learned with us how to use a sewing machine or a serger, dared to try embroidery or cross-stitch, discovered knitting or crochet, and took the step toward creating and assembling their own patterns. And in 2018, it’s your turn.
Put your new machine in a beautiful, well-lit place in the house and get ready, because we’re going to spend lots of creative and rewarding time in front of it. Here’s what we have to help you.
Resources for learning to sew with a sewing machineThe easiest and most immediate option is online courses. They’re so convenient! Videos where you can watch Laura sew and explain the entire process step by step. The best part is that you can take them from home, whenever works best for you, and watch the classes as many times as you like.
That way, you decide how much time you spend and when you spend it, what pace works best for you, and which tutorial you want to do each time.
