It's a new month! And we love it as much as putting on clothes we've made ourselves or discovering an amazing pattern. April arrives with little flowers, the scent of spring, rays of sunshine, and, of course, lots of rain. But it also brings a new round of in-person sewing classes and courses at Lulu Ferris.
If you want to start from scratch or already know how to sew but want to keep improving and learning, we have a course or class for you. And they're all still waiting to begin.
You'll see that when you share it and turn it into a moment of learning, fun, and interaction with kind and wonderful people, sewing is even better, if that's possible.
1. Patternmaking, Cutting, and Sewing
How many times have you thought, “I wish I knew how to make my own designs”? Learning patternmaking, cutting, and sewing means no longer depending on other people's patterns and being able to bring your own ideas to life.
You don't need any experience making patterns—we'll teach you from scratch—but if you already have some, we'll help you improve and take it a step further. You don't need to bring your sewing machine, either: we have everything here, and it works wonderfully :)
If you can set aside one day a week (Wednesday afternoons or Friday mornings), you can mark April 2018 on your calendar as “the month I finally learned to create my own clothes.”

2. Baby and Children's Clothing Course
If you already know how to use a sewing machine and want to learn how to make clothes for your little ones, we have lots of wonderful patterns waiting for you. Overalls, skirts, sweatshirts, pants, dresses, leggings, hats, booties, diaper covers… We have everything!

3. Introduction to the Sewing Machine Class
Do you love the garments you're seeing but still don't even know how to use a sewing machine? Well, we have good news: you can make things like these and anything else you set your mind to. We'll take the first step with you.
This April, we're offering two days so you can leave this class feeling fantastic: you'll get to know the machine and turn it into your best friend. No one will be able to stop you now!

4. Creative Sewing Classes
Although we include them among the classes available in April, creative sewing classes are actually available ALWAYS. In fact, the idea is to buy a 4-class package (each class lasts three hours) and use it whenever you like. When you have the time and motivation, when you're feeling creative, when you feel like spending a wonderful time, when you want to learn something new…
Tuesdays, Thursdays, or Saturdays; mornings or afternoons; individual classes or a four-class package; complete freedom to use the package for a year… Everything is made easy so you can devote yourself to your passion.
