We often make projects where we’d prefer to use waterproof fabrics, but sometimes it’s hard to find fabrics that are both waterproof and beautiful. So when we saw this waterproofing gel for fabric, we loved it!
Odicoat lets you waterproof whatever fabric you like! Toiletry bags, bibs, backpacks, bags… whatever you want! It’s very practical and easy to use. Plus, the texture and thickness of the fabric after applying it make it very easy to sew; it doesn’t peel off or wrinkle.
Since it’s waterproof, you can also use it as a stain repellent. For example, you can use it on canvas shoes so they’re not only waterproof but also stay cleaner. We’re already thinking about the little ones’ sneakers… and, well, ours too… they’re always stepping on me ;)
And if you’re worried about the washing machine, don’t worry—as we tell you in the video, Odicoat can go in the washing machine! Oh yeah!
You just need to remember, when sewing, not to use pins, since they would create holes.
