A month ago, it was the kids' turn to experience that promise-filled feeling, and now it's our turn! Tomorrow, July 26, we’re closing the store until August 15. And although we'll miss you, we're incredibly excited to disconnect. In today's post, we'll explain what the vacation affects and which parts of Lulu Ferris will continue operating.

We know you're really happy for us, but you're probably asking yourself this too. Won't online orders be possible? Is the Club closing? Won't there be new tutorials? Will we disappear off the map and head to Conchinchina? (Careful—that place really does exist.)
Here comes a round of questions and answers to put your mind at ease.
1. Will there still be new tutorials on Fridays in Lulu Ferris?
A resounding YES! Lulu Ferris is always active. So before we leave for vacation, we've recorded and prepared all the tutorials so you can enjoy a new one every Friday.
2. Can you place online orders for fabric and materials?
All orders placed during the vacation period will be shipped when we return. That means if you see a fabric you love or want to order some materials in advance, you can place the order through the store right now, but you won't receive it until we get everything running again.
3. Are we going to disappear off the map?
Not exactly. It's true that the physical store will be closed and that the online store will be limited to holding your orders without shipping them, but we never disappear completely. Although we'll be less active, we'll still be present on social media (Facebook and Instagram), on the blog, and, as we've already told you, in Lulu Ferris.
4. What about custom orders?
Exactly the same as with the online store. If you want us to sew something lovely for you or your kids, make a very special gift, or put together a party with crowns and garlands, it will have to be starting August 15.
5. What if you want to reserve a spot in one of our in-person courses for August?
No problem at all! We have a great website that handles reservations. We also want to remind you that if you book before July 30, the Beginner Sewing Course and the Intensive Sewing Course are on sale. Huge discount!
