I'm sure you have one of these thermal bags at home, but interestingly, they're all hideous. With garish, outdated colors or the typical one featuring a yogurt or soft-drink brand. Although it obviously doesn't have the same texture and consistency as regular fabric, it's very easy to sew. In fact, you don't need to use a special needle or presser foot. What we do recommend is that, when securing the fabric before running it through the machine, you don't use pins. It's better to secure it with clips or water-soluble glue so you don't puncture it.

Crossbody thermal bag with Velcro closure
The tutorial we mentioned earlier. To keep the temperature steady, we made this bag with a roll-top opening. That way, you can roll it several times, providing better insulation for the inside. The closure is Velcro, so you can adjust it according to how full it is and keep it perfectly closed at all times.
The design is crossbody-style, so it's easy and comfortable to carry. But if you prefer, you could also add backpack-style straps or just one handle at the top, like a briefcase. It's up to you!
