Make your own envelopes for gift cards—patterns included!
This time of year, we give lots of little gifts, and some of them are gift cards (like our gift certificate for a Lulu Ferris membership). To help you make them yourself, we’re bringing you this tutorial with patterns for two envelope shapes.
Two that you can make with cardstock and glue if you don’t know how to sew or don’t have a machine, and one that you can sew with felt fabric.
The great thing about felt is that it’s a very versatile fabric for crafts: it doesn’t fray, it has structure, and it lets you make so many things. Just look how cute our Christmas headbands turned out.
