I used to watch the news while I ate breakfast, but not anymore—it's all disasters and corrupt politicians. Starting the day with that isn't worth it; you end up depressed all day!!! The best thing is beautiful things you enjoy, so I go on bloglovin and enjoy myself!
I follow so many blogs that I can't keep up with them all, but each one has something special—I love it! I never have enough time to make all the DIYs I see, all the creative ideas that flood my mind every morning...it's wonderful! And I can't forget to stop by Pinterest, with all those photos that inspire you in every way. Seriously, there are some amazing photographers out there.
So, a few days ago, El Diván Azul, a blog that caught my attention as soon as I saw it, proposed a letter exchange (Swap).....(letters?? Good grief, I don't even remember how to write anymore!) and I signed up right away without thinking! Although lately I've been incredibly busy with preparations for the shop, the wedding, the baby, and orders, I had to make some time for it.
What did we have to do??? Send each other something blue, a little bag of our favorite tea, a photo taken by each of us, and some handmade tags :)
I received mine yesterday!!!!!! :) I was so happy when I saw the envelope in my mailbox! How nice it is not to receive only bills, bank letters, and advertising! A kraft envelope with my name handwritten on it in my mailbox! Yippee!!!!!!!!
I was Reme's swap partner, and she sent me all kinds of beautiful things. It made me so happy that she thought of a lovely moment with my little one, when we read stories, and made me some wonderfully original bookmarks! I'd never seen anything like them before—the monster is absolutely fantastic, and my boy loved it. Her tea bag was rooibos, one of my favorites; the photo...perfect...and I'm saving the cards to decorate the shop! :)
My letter is going out today. I'm short on time, even though we have until June 30, but I didn't want to keep her waiting so long. I've been waiting to receive a little something so I could send the letter...but it's worth it!
