Super Easy T-Shirt Yarn Bracelet Tutorial

Good morning!!!

Today I have a super simple and highly effective tutorial for you!

These bracelets came to me on Sunday through a student, Patricia. She told me how, on a childhood outing on Barcelona's golondrinas, the boat's captain explained how to make a bracelet simply with a piece of cord... and yesterday I was browsing online when I found an American woman explaining more or less the same thing...

After seeing it twice, I had to tell you about it...

She learned it with a piece of cord; in what I found online, someone had cut up some T-shirts... I've done it with t-shirt yarn from Trap-Art that I have in the shop... so never throw away those leftover strips again!

The length you'll need is about 7 times around your wrist or the recipient's wrist. If the t-shirt yarn is stretchy, you'll have some left over...

For those of you who crochet, it's as easy as making a chain!

And for those who don't, we'll use our fingers...

Make a slipknot, tighten it well (1.2.3)  and through the opening of the loop you've made (4), pass the t-shirt yarn through it (5.6.7) and pull! Keep doing this until you reach the length you want......... Easy or what?!

In case you still don't quite understand it from the photos, I've made you a video tutorial :)

If you find that the bracelet is too thick, cut the t-shirt yarn down the middle... You can add beads between the knots... and you'll have some wonderfully pretty little bracelets.
