What you’ll make
Sew the Murcia as a breezy blouse or full-length dress. Both versions have front and back V-necklines, with a small inverted pleat adding shape and movement at center front.
Facings finish the neckline, while narrow fabric binding finishes the armholes. The dress can include customizable side slits.

Fabric guidance
Choose a lightweight, fluid woven fabric for a warm-weather garment. Suggested options include viscose, linen, chambray, and crepe.
The class demonstrates stabilizing shaped areas so fluid fabric retains its cut shape. It also discusses suitable needles and machine settings for fine materials.
Make it your own
Sew the blouse or full-length dress. The class also shows how to remove the front pleat by placing the altered pattern edge on the fold before cutting.
Position the dress slits higher or lower. You can sew them on both sides, use only one, or close the sides farther down.
Try on the garment before hemming to confirm its length. Optional topstitching can help keep the neckline facings inside if they tend to turn outward.
Pattern sizing
The pattern covers sizes 34/36 through 54/56. The chart spans a chest of 86–132 cm, waist of 64–110 cm, and hips of 90–136 cm.
Finished dress lengths range from 142 cm in size 34/36 to 152 cm in size 54/56.
